Welcome!

There is Something about Mary Jane is a Documentary produced between 2005 and 2010 about the legalization of Cannabis. During this time, the war on drugs in Mexico, our native country has escalated to an intolerable point, claiming more than 30,000 lives.

The object of this documentary is to portray various positions about marijuana prohibition. We take a look at the propaganda from the early beginnings of prohibition to the current day. In here you will fond lins to resources on both sides of the spectrum concerning marijuana use. We take a look at the origins of marijuana laws, the international treaties that make it practically impossible to any member of the international community to take an individual approach in the handling of their own public health and social problems when it comes to addiction.

The format of the documentary is non-linear, although a full edited copy of it will soon be available in You Tube or Amazon (DVD  or downloadable format). It is intended to be viewed In the order that most interests the viewer. It has been cut in chapters, and the full unedited interviews as well as all the original stock film used is available to watch as well.
